It's About Time for Brody!

Yup...I know. It's been over a month since I put up a post of the kiddos. Here are some pics of Brody taken over the past several weeks.

Brody wanted to play outside so bad in chilly weather so I kept him in his fleece sleeper, tossed some clogs on his feet and let him go.

We were invited to a birthday party at a great place called My Gym. They have all sorts of cool climbing things and a great game with a flying bucket. Brody absolutely loved speeding down the zip line. We are thinking about having My Gym host Brody's third birthday and Maggie's first this year. Super fun!!

When Maggie and I went to visit Papaw Brad took Brody to a bowling alley. They had great fun which only lasted about 30 minutes. Brody quickly grew bored...

He made the block formation all on his own in the picture below. I didn't help at all.

While Daddy Was Away

A few weeks ago Brad went camping with several of his friends for a guys weekend. My parents came into town for a sweet but way too short visit. It was nice and quiet (no offense Brad) and we laid low the whole weekend.

A Box

The smallest things crack Brody up and playing in a box is definitely one of them. We kept the game of jack-in-the-box going for over ten minutes.

A Tooth!

Tonight, at dinner, I was letting Maggie gnaw on a saltine for the first time. When my finger was in her mouth she chomped down and bit me! I felt her gums and our little stinker has a tooth! We can't see it yet but we sure can feel the razor blade. :)

Brody has been sick since Saturday with a nasty temperature and feeling cruddy. Yesterday morning Brad felt he would cheer Brody by climbing into bed with him. Brody invited me in too but I think I would have broken his crib if all three of us were laying together. :)

Welcome Home Mr. President

As most of you know Mr. Bush and his family made it home to Texas last night. I lived vicariously through my uncle, cousin and his wife as they got to meet the Bush's when they landed in Waco. Check out my cousin Shannon's post to see the story and pictures of the event.

Watching Cartoons

On Saturday mornings we all enjoy hanging out in our bed watching TV. Brody only laid down for this picture for about a minute or so. Then he was off climbing all over us. :)

Dizzy

Brody has a new trick that he enjoys doing on the swing set. He likes to twist the swing up and then let it unravel at high speed. I have to be careful with Brody because when he is finished he walks around like a drunk. HA! Brody will giggle the whole time too.
